Louis Van Gaal accuses media of inventing the story of Jose Mourinho's Manchester United move

Louis Van Gaal has accused journalists of "inventing" reports suggesting Mourinho's move to Old Trafford. The Dutchman has been under intense pressure in previous months.

Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea in December, is believed by "Independent " to be confident of placing Van Gaal at the end of the season even though no deal has been agreed yet.
Speaking after sunday's 1-1 draw with Chelsea, Van Gaal asked a reporter:“You've spoken with [chief executive] Ed ? “Why does the club have to deny it, when you are creating stories?
“OK. So you didn't speak to Ed Woodward, not with the Glazers [owners] and you are inventing a story. And then I have to answer this question. I don't answer this question. And I shall repeat myself every week.
“Now I have to say that you [a reporter] are getting the sack tomorrow. What is your name? Then I can announce your name also.”
