University of Ibadan ranked No. 1 by NUC

The Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) has ranked University of Ibadan as the best among second generation universities in the country in 2015, with University of Ilorin, University of Jos and Covenant University.  

According to the NUC, these are the best universities in the country are:

• University of Ibadan, UI(Over all best University) 
• University of Ilorin,UNILORIN( Best ranking second generation university) 
• University of Jos,UNIJOS(2nd best ranking second generation university )
• Covenant University (Best private University)
